‘…when they saw that the gospel for the uncircumcised had been committed to me, as the gospel for the circumcised was to Peter (for He who worked effectively in Peter for the apostleship to the circumcised also worked effectively in me toward the Gentiles)’ Galatians 2:7-8 (NKJV)
There are two clear ministries and God in His ordinances of commission, have commissioned two sets of ministers into these two sets of ministries. The ministry to the circumcised (the Church) and the ministry to the uncircumcised (the unChurched) are separate ministries (but interwoven ministries) and they both need ministers who are dedicated to these groups of people.
God shows no favoritism. Those who minister to the Church receive the same grace as those who minister to the Gentiles. It is God who works effectively in both groups of people through both groups of ministers. We must not elevate one or diminish the other. God is the Foreman of His Project. Let Everyman find his place with the Foreman and faithfully obey the instructions given to him.
Have you located your primary ministry? Have you entered into it? Do you despise those in the other group?
‘Lord, always remind me of the priority of my calling. Even if I do venture out into the other side, may I return to my core calling and Apostleship. Deliver me from any form of envy or competition with my brethren who work on the other side of the same ministry. Always give me peace in my calling. Amen.’
